The position requires a mechanical engineering degree (advanced degree a plus), experience with strut, air spring and damper design, and strong collaboration across suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality vehicle components.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Advanced degrees are a plus.
Proficiency in CATIA V6 with 2D drawing and GD&T experience.
Experience with strut, air spring, damper design, and development.
Understanding of vehicle/chassis systems and hydraulic/pneumatic subsystems.
Strong communication and testing/vehicle development experience.

Responsibilities

Design and develop prototype hardware and electromechanical systems using CATIA V6.
Create detailed 2D drawings for fabrication and assembly with GD&T.
Evaluate mechanical assemblies for performance across static, dynamic, structural, and thermal metrics.
Lead component testing and develop innovative testing methods and analyses.
Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to manage design, documentation, and delivery.
