Responsibilities

• Evaluate mechanical assemblies for performance across static, dynamic, structural, and thermal metrics.
• Lead component testing and develop innovative testing methods and analyses.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to manage design, documentation, and delivery.

What's the Job?

• Design and develop prototype hardware and electromechanical systems using CAD tools such as CATIA V6.

• Create detailed 2D drawings for fabrication and assembly, ensuring precision and clarity.

• Evaluate mechanical assemblies for static, dynamic, structural, and thermal-mechanical performance metrics.

• Lead component testing and characterization, developing innovative testing methods and analyzing data to inform design improvements.

• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to manage design, documentation, and delivery of vehicle components.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in CAD tools, especially CATIA V6, with experience in creating 2D drawings including GD&T.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.

• Experience with strut, air spring, damper design, and development.

• Understanding of vehicle engineering, chassis systems, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, and system architecture.

• Strong communication skills and experience in testing, vehicle development, and long-term project planning.
