Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, computer, automotive engineering or related technical field.
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, diagnostic trouble codes, fault isolation and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with CAN-based communication and diagnostic concepts, including signal interpretation and basic network troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in hands-on vehicle development/testing environments, with travel and non-standard hours during tests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical issues to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate development/test vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on diagnostics support for chassis control systems.
• Plan and execute diagnostic troubleshooting on development vehicles, test benches, and engineering environments.
• Partner with controls and software engineers to reproduce issues, document findings, and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Create clear, repeatable test procedures and diagnostic methods for vehicle and system-level investigations.
• Review test results and communicate technical summaries, presentations, and cross-functional reviews.
• Own the diagnostic processes and validation with documentation as Standard Work
• Teach and mentor new calibration engineers on diagnostics strategies.
