Daimler Truck North America is offering a UX Design Internship located in Portland, OR. Interns gain real-world experience across UI/UX development, research, prototyping, and validation of digital interfaces for DTNA brands. The role spans ideation to on-truck validation with collaboration across global teams.

Eligible candidates are enrolled in a bachelor's or higher, with UX-focused majors preferred. The program offers hybrid work, relocation support to Portland, and potential transition to

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program or higher, or have recently graduated within 1 year of May/June start.
• Majors preferred include HCI, UX/Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, or CS with a UX focus.
• Strong expertise in Figma, Adobe Suite, and similar tools.
• Experience developing and using Design Systems; prototyping tools like Figma/Protopie.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Articulates, develops, and models the end user experience including the visual design to simplify interaction.
• Supports the design, development, documentation, and debugging of the user interface to optimize UX; contribute to Design Systems updates.
• Develop interactive prototypes of vehicle features.
• Apply Design Thinking methodology in projects to deliver thoughtful design solutions.
• Foster an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture where everyone belongs.
