Job summary

ExED, a nonprofit charter school back-office partner in Southern California, seeks an Accounting Analyst in its Los Angeles home office. You will support accounts payable, vendor file maintenance, payroll, and monthly financial reporting in a collaborative team setting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and clear communication with charter school clients and internal stakeholders. Public education passion is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required.
• Knowledge of GAAP and standard operating practices.
• Experience with accounting systems; MIP preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
• Strong writing and communication; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Code and enter invoice and reimbursement data into accounting system.
• Review vendor invoices, fulfill check requests, and maintain files.
• Respond to client and vendor inquiries regarding information.
• Assist in payroll processing and journal entries as needed.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and compliance documents.
• Assist with audits and year-end information requests.
