Job summary

Menzies Aviation in the United States is seeking a Charter Screener to conduct security screening of passengers, crew, baggage, and aircraft for charter and private aviation operations at a fixed-base operator (FBO). You will ensure compliance with TSA regulations, airport security requirements, and company policies while delivering discreet, professional service to private aviation clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
• Must pass pre-employment drug tests and background check.
• Must meet requirements to obtain security badge.

Responsibilities

• Screen passengers, crew, and baggage per TSA and airport guidelines.
• Verify identification, manifests, and access credentials before boarding.
• Conduct inspections of baggage, items, and cargo.
• Perform aircraft security sweeps and secure ramp areas.
• Monitor access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Maintain security logs and incident reports.
• Coordinate with FBO staff, flight crews, and security personnel.
• Respond to security concerns or policy violations immediately.
• Handle sensitive passenger/flight information properly.
• Provide professional customer service in private aviation.
• Enforce TSA, FAA, and company security procedures.
• Assist with emergency response procedures when required.
• Perform other duties as requested.
