Gensler in Charlotte is seeking a Project Architect to blend creativity with technical know-how and business insight to deliver functional, beautiful spaces. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with design teams, and strong knowledge of building codes with a focus on sustainability and regulatory approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
• Registered/Licensed Architect.
• 6-8 years of diverse interiors experience with emphasis on base building and interior renovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative efforts of multiple core & shell projects from the initial marketing stages through construction administration.
• Engage directly with senior design leadership from early development through the implementation of design solutions.
• Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
• Manage project team and coordination of consultants.
• Produce BIM models and construction drawings.
• Resolve challenging technical and design issues with the team to produce innovative, technical and constructible solutions.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to grow junior staff members.
• Participate in office culture and initiatives.
