Job summary

Improveit Home Remodeling has opened its Charlotte office, the first market outside Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee in 37 years. We are hiring an Outside Sales Trainer who will own onboarding and a three-week initial training to turn new hires into Design Consultants.

You will partner with HR and IT to ensure day one readiness, and you will measure success by graduates' performance in the field. Charlotte is brand new; every rep will learn the job from you.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Sales Management, Training, or Learning & Development.
• 5+ years of experience in the home remodeling industry preferred.
• Demonstrated success selling home improvement products.
• Knowledge of residential construction (windows, kitchens, bathrooms) preferred.
• Strong training, coaching, and communication skills.
• Experience with onboarding new hires and field coaching.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding for new Outside Sales reps, including paperwork and logistics.
• Facilitate the three-week initial training and assess trainees.
• Create training reports for Sales Leadership.
• Lead ongoing training and development, including ride-alongs.
• Coordinate with HR and IT to ensure day one readiness.
