Job summary

LVI Associates seeks a Stormwater / Hydrology & Hydraulics (H&H) Team Lead in Charleston, SC to oversee and grow an established Water Resources team. The role blends technical leadership, mentoring, client engagement, and business development to shape project delivery and regional growth.

You will guide engineers and staff, manage budgets and schedules, and strengthen municipal and agency relationships while expanding the Carolinas practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license in SC or ability to obtain.
• 12+ years in Stormwater, Water Resources, Drainage, or H&H Engineering.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an established Stormwater and H&H team.
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across projects.
• Manage project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Serve as trusted advisor to clients; maintain relationships with municipalities and agencies.
• Mentor and develop engineers, project managers, and staff.
• Support strategic growth, including recruiting and team development.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities through client relationships.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across civil, environmental, transportation, and water infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Help shape future direction and expansion of Water Resources practice across the Carolinas.
