The unit blends surgical trauma PCU and burn care, delivering high-acuity nursing across both areas. You will collaborate with a Magnet-level team and may participate in on-call coverage as census fluctuates.

Work hours: Full-time, Night shift

Positions require 12‑hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations.

Department highlights:

Justin 5 is a 35‑bed Surgical Trauma Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Burn Unit. On August 10, the unit will open with 18 surgical trauma PCU beds and 9 burn beds, with plans to expand to the full 35 beds later in the year. This unit provides higher‑acuity surgical trauma and burn care, including treatment in a dedicated hydrotherapy procedure room for the burn population. Although patient populations differ, this is one integrated unit, and staff are expected to work across both care areas.
