Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is recruiting a Charge Registered Nurse for the Pre Admission Testing department. The role includes documenting patient history, medications, performing pre-admission testing, and delivering pre-operative instruction in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Requirements include Texas RN licensure, BLS with ACLS within 30 days, and a minimum of two years RN experience. BSN is preferred and EHR proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas (TX RN)
• BLS certification; ACLS within 30 days of hire
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a clinical setting
• Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Document patient history and current medications; perform pre-admission diagnostic testing and provide pre-operative instruction
• Implement physician orders; communicate with surgeon/anesthesiologist; ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy
