Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a dedicated Charge Registered Nurse (Charge RN) to provide clinical care and shift‑level leadership in a hospital setting.

You will supervise nursing staff, assign patients to LPNs and aides, oversee patient care activities, and ensure efficient unit operations. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and critical‑thinking skills.

Night shifts with weekend work are included, and you must be able to work across multiple units and handle emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with no experience required beyond clinical training.
• Active Nebraska RN license or ability to obtain it.
• Certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC within one year of hire.
• Strong communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff, assign patients, and delegate tasks to LPNs and aides.
• Oversee patient care activities and ensure efficient unit operations.
• Address staff, patient, and family concerns while maintaining a collaborative environment.
• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, patient monitoring, and assisting with procedures.
• Coordinate diagnostic and lab activities, document patient conditions, and uphold infection control standards.
