Job summary
Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse to oversee the health care delivery system within a nursing unit. You will evaluate health status data, set goals, plan and implement patient care, and supervise teaching for staff to ensure quality outcomes.
The role requires current RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of clinical experience. You will lead a team in a mission-driven environment with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Prefer a minimum of one-year clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the total health care delivery system in their unit, coordinating patient care with other departments and ensuring policy compliance.
- Monitor nursing service, maintain accurate records, and identify potential problems with corrective actions.
- Assist with staff orientation, training, and evaluations, and coordinate staffing levels to meet contractual requirements.
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance of the unit and appropriate levels of medical equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a professional atmosphere and attend monthly staff meetings as directed by Nursing leadership.
