Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, AZ is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for full-time night shifts. You’ll deliver compassionate bedside care to laboring patients, collaborate with NICU and OR teams, and lead care when needed.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in L&D, nursing degree, and active AZ RN license, with required BLS/ACLS and NRP completion during orientation. This is a growth-focused role in a respected Women’s & Infant Services department.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the State of Arizona.
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
Basic certifications required by department: BLS and ACLS as applicable.
NRP and fetal monitoring proficiency or completion within the specified orientation period.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on bedside care through pre-pregnancy complications, labor, delivery and recovery.
Collaborate with NICU, Couplet Care, OR and ED teams.
Interpret fetal monitoring and anticipate labor progression.
Serve as clinical leader, supervising and delegating patient care as needed.
Ensure safety, comfort and clear communication throughout birth experience.
Participate in hourly rounding and uphold evidence-based nursing standards.
With experience, may be assigned charge nurse or OB triage duties.
