Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead in Glendale, AZ is hiring experienced Labor & Delivery RNs for full-time night shifts (7 PM–7:30 AM). Bring your passion for delivering life and clinical judgment to a high-acuity unit supporting early moments of life.

The role collaborates with NICU, Couplet Care, OR, and ED teams; opportunities to advance to charge nurse or OB triage with experience; active AZ RN license is required with BLS & ACLS, NRP by end of orientation and Fetal Monitoring training within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in NICU, postpartum/couplet care, antepartum, ICU, OR, or ED.
• Active RN license in the State of Arizona; BLS & ACLS; NRP by end of orientation; fetal monitoring within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on bedside care through pre-pregnancy complications, laboring moms, delivery, and recovery.
• Collaborate with NICU, Couplet Care, OR, and ED teams.
• Interpret fetal monitoring and anticipate labor progression.
• Act as a clinical leader, supervising and delegating patient care as needed.
• Ensure safety, comfort and communication throughout the birth experience.
• Participate in hourly rounding and uphold evidence-based nursing standards.
• With appropriate experience, may be assigned charge nurse or OB triage duties.

• Provide hands-on bedside care through pre-pregnancy complications, laboring moms, delivery of baby, and recovery period.
• Collaborate across NICU, Couplet Care, OR, and ED teams.
• Interpret fetal monitoring and anticipate labor progression
• Act as a clinical leader, supervising and delegating patient care as needed
• Ensure safety, comfort, and communication throughout the birth experience
• Participate in hourly rounding and uphold evidence-based nursing standards
• With appropriate experience, can be assigned charge nurse or OB triage duties.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience

Education

Certifications
