Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts at Columbia County Medical Center in Georgia. The role includes collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while maintaining a safe, confidential, and high-quality environment.

You will contribute to performance improvement initiatives and mentor junior staff as part of Shared Governance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree, diploma, or BSN preferred to qualify for RN role.
• All nursing certifications required at hire unless stated otherwise.
• RN licensure in Georgia or Compact/Single State as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.
• Coordinate patient care with the care team to optimize outcomes and patient experience.
• Participate in performance improvement and professional governance activities.
• Maintain licenses and certifications; complete required trainings and professional development.
• Mentor and support other nurses and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Adhere to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
