Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare seeks a registered nurse to coordinate delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle on their shift. You will provide clinical care as needed and communicate issues to the leader on duty.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and other certifications as listed. You will work within Piedmont's hospital system to ensure safe, effective care and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia required and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• ACLS and PALS Certifications Required for Emergency Dept/Unit as applicable
• BCLS Required
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required prior to independent chemotherapy administration (Infusion/Oncology)
• NRP and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within specified timeframes
• PALS certification if unit serves pediatric patients
• TNCC/ENPC requirements at specified Piedmont hospitals

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
