Panacea Health Corp. is seeking a compassionate Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pottsville facility. The role includes supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and supporting a team-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to teamwork and supervise other personnel.
• Must possess ability to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to supervise other staff.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
• Must possess basic computer knowledge.
• Must successfully complete post offer, pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, supervise the Skilled Nursing facility for the assigned shift.
• Oversee administrative and professional policies for the shift and delegate duties to ensure quality patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge to provide care appropriate to adults through geriatric residents.
• Assess data and interpret information to identify residents’ needs by age-related requirements.
• Supervise the facility during scheduled tours and rounds.
• Perform all RN duties and functions as needed.
• Assess physical condition and nursing needs of residents and direct appropriate action.
• Respond in crisis situations and ensure proper staffing across units.
