CommonSpirit Health seeks an Emergency Services Charge RN in Arizona/Glendale to oversee a department of frontline nurses providing rapid, patient-centered care in a high-volume emergency department.
You will mentor staff, ensure quality care, perform rapid assessments, and collaborate with physicians and support personnel to stabilize patients of all ages, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
As a Emergency Services Charge RN, you will oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care adds tremendous value to our nursing team. Every day you will advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential, which aligns with the department's operational goals and objectives. To thrive in this role, you need to be accountable and confident. You are an excellent communicator in 1:1 interactions and in front of groups, and you are comfortable holding tough conversations. You are responsible for the performance of your people and the unit. You will leverage your specialized expertise to provide rapid, individualized, comprehensive care, making swift and critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing urgent patient care plans for patients of all ages, from minor injuries to life‑threatening emergencies. You will collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, advanced practice providers, paramedics, and support staff, contributing to a high‑pressure, yet highly rewarding, environment focused on immediate stabilization and optimal patient outcomes.
$42.85 – $63.77 per hour
