Job summary

Texas Health Resources seeks a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) for the Telemetry Department at Texas Health Kaufman.

This full-time role (36 hours/week, three 12-hour days) is on a 23-bed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with self-scheduling and strong leadership support. The unit focuses on安全 patient care, teamwork, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Nursing degrees as listed plus active RN license.
• Relevant certifications (BCLS, CPI, ACLS, NRP, PALS/ENPC, TNCC).
• Experience in acute care telemetry/Med-Surg is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 23-bed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit.
• Respond to patient needs, ensure safety and privacy.
• Collaborate with health care team and leadership.
• Utilize self-scheduling and participate in educational growth.
• Maintain required certifications and competencies.
• Support delivery of high-quality patient care and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Uphold unit-based council initiatives and teamwork.

Here’s What You Need

• Nursing Diploma Nursing is required Or
• Associate's Degree Nursing is required Or
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred
• 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. is required
• 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. is preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire is required And
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days is required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required And
• NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required And
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required Or
• ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required And
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 Months is required
