Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, North Carolina is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Charge PACU position. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with no call required. A sign-on bonus of $20,000 is eligible for new hires.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a current state RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One-year previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Responsible for completion of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
