Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate high-quality care across all patient ages, from birth onward, while addressing daily operational needs. You will provide direct clinical care as needed based on census and collaborate with leadership to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS, with NRP/AWHONN certifications expected within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• 2+ years nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• RN - Georgia State Licensure required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification prior to independent chemotherapy administration.
• NRP by end of orientation period; AWHONN program within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, and addresses operational issues during the shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
