Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle during their shift. The role includes providing clinical care as needed when census demands and communicating with leaders about patient care and staff concerns.

The position requires RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS and various specialty certifications as applicable. Orientation includes demonstrating leadership in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during his/her shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

Skills

1 year hospital nursing experience

2 years preferred
