Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our team. The role covers the full spectrum of bedside care for patients from birth onward, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and high-quality clinical practice.

You will coordinate nursing care, communicate patient needs to the leadership, and serve as a clinical resource for staff, participating in ongoing education and compliance with certifications required by our obstetrics and emergency departments.

Qualifications

• RN with Georgia licensure required.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• NRP and AWHONN fetal monitoring within specified timelines.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification prior to independent chemotherapy administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle during shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
