Job summary

Avir at The Renaissance in Dallas, TX is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by physicians and in line with regulatory standards. You will review records, monitor health status, and coordinate admissions and transfers.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to interpret complex long-term care rules/regulations.
• Experience as Charge Nurse or supervisor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review medical records and nurse notes; assess resident status.
• Administer medications as ordered; document accordingly.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges; assist with care plans.
• Lead licensed staff; schedule assignments; provide coaching.
• Ensure residents' rights; promote safety and compliance with policies.
• Develop and implement written care plans for individuals.
• Participate in in-service training and orientation; maintain competence.
• Monitor infection control and maintain a safe, clean environment.
