Job summary

Avir Vista in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to lead our nursing unit, coordinate daily operations, and ensure high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting.

You will mentor Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, monitor patient progress, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staff assignments, medication administration, and treatment schedules
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Provide direct patient care and supervise the provision of care by other members of the nursing team
• Mentor and guide the nursing staff to ensure that they have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide exceptional patient care
• Monitor and report patient progress and any changes in condition to the interdisciplinary care team
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our care meets the highest standards
