Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations.
• Prepare and review medical records and nurse’s notes, and assess residents to observe and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges; transcribe physician orders; communicate resident status with family and other team members.
• Supervise and guide other nursing staff; assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Assist in developing and implementing care plans for residents and participate in staff training.
