Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in Alabama or compact licensure required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care using the Nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Demonstrate CPR according to American Heart Association standards.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned and direct unit activities.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation per hospital policy.
• Transcribe orders and ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards.
