Job summary

Meadowbrook Campus in Brockton seeks a qualified Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) for Evening and Night shifts. Position can be Full Time or Part Time, with a pay range of $36 to $56.50 per hour depending on licensure and experience.

Qualifications

  • RN or LPN licensure required.
  • Evening and Night shift availability.

Responsibilities

  • Continue to provide direct patient care as needed, ensuring quality and safety of care.
  • Assist with handling admissions, discharges, and hospital send outs.
  • Responsible for taking assignment if there is a call out.
  • Staff Resource when management and nursing supervisor is unavailable.
  • Oversees and supports other nurses and healthcare staff.
  • Attends staff education and training.
  • Communicates effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and management to ensure clear communication amongst staff.
  • Adherence to HPTC policies and procedures, infection control protocols, and medication administration guidelines.
  • Assisting patients on their journey to recovery from substance use disorders.
  • Provide noninvasive medical care-medical management to evaluate and assess patient’s level of withdrawal using evidence-based protocols.
  • Assure patient care meets best practice standards utilizing nursing skills, experience to maintain safe and therapeutic milieu.
  • Overnight check of medical equipment.
  • Chart audits and making sure there is accurate, and complete documentation of treatment and care in the Electronic Health Record.
  • Monitor, assess, and treat patient conditions appropriately.
  • Other duties as assigned.
