Job summary

English Village Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead a night shift (6PM-6AM) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The role emphasizes safety, resident wellness, and team leadership in a Skilled Nursing facility in Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.

• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
• Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete assigned tasks and point out changes or improvements.
• Detect issues that could cause injuries or other difficulties for residents or staff.
• Inform physicians of changes in residents’ progress, condition or medicinal needs.

Our Charge Nurses focus on providing the best care possible while ensuring resident satisfaction. They must personally value safety, security, and resident wellness above all else; and ensure their staff reflect these values as well!

Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are both encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.
• Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.

Required Experience and Education

• 1+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility or Long Term Care environment preferred.
