The Regency Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Shawnee, OK is hiring a Charge Nurse for the 3:00 PM–7:00 AM night shift weekend team. RNs and LPNs are encouraged to apply; you will lead clinical care and ensure safety and resident wellness.

You will supervise Nursing Aides, delegate tasks, communicate changes to physicians, and contribute to a supportive, compliant care environment with our ESOP and benefits.

Qualificações

• Current Oklahoma RN or LPN license.
• First Aid and CPR certification up-to-date.
• 1+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility or Long Term Care environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond accordingly.
• Supervise Nursing Aides and coordinate tasks.
• Detect issues that could injure residents or staff.

Our Charge Nurses focus on providing the best care possible while ensuring resident satisfaction. They must personally value safety, security, and resident wellness above all else; and ensure their staff reflect these values as well!

Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are both encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.
• Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.
• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
• Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made.
• Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for residents or staff members.
• Inform physicians of any changes in residents’ progress, condition or medicinal needs.

Required Experience and Education

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
• 1+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility or Long Term Care environment preferred.
