Responsibilities

• Direct care teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate resident care.
• Administer medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement resident care plans per policies, guidelines, and orders.
• Perform treatments to support resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Document resident care and complete nursing assessments.
• Participate in shift reports for clear care continuity.
• Educate staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety standards.
• Address staffing needs by arranging replacements when necessary.
