San Saba Rehabilitation and Nursing seeks a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care teams, administer medications, and implement care plans for residents in our Texas facility.

The successful candidate will supervise CNAs, document care, participate in shift reports, and ensure safety and infection control standards are followed. Licensed RN or LVN in good standing is required, with strong communication and reliable attendance.

Qualifikationen

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to organize workflows and supervise nursing staff.
• Ability to respond efficiently to emergencies.

• Direct Care Teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: safely administer resident meds as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: execute care plans per policies and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: deliver treatments as required for resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: maintain timely, accurate nursing charts and assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: participate in shift reports for continuity of care.
• Educate Support Staff: train staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: promote infection control and body mechanics safety.
• Address Staffing Needs: arrange for replacement staff during shortages.
