Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Guide nurse aides to ensure appropriate resident care.
• Administer Medications: Safely give medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Carry out care plans per policies and orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver required treatments for resident health.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Keep timely, accurate nursing records.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Communicate care continuity across shifts.
• Educate Support Staff: Train staff on nursing policies and needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Enforce infection control and safety.
• Address Staffing Needs: Arrange replacements during shortages.
