Job summary

Heritage-Healthcare-of-Lyndhurst in Lyndhurst, OH is seeking an RN or LPN for full-time or part-time shifts (12-hour options) to assess and treat patients in a correctional setting, in collaboration with physicians.

You will help develop care plans, monitor patient status, educate patients, maintain records, and coordinate referrals. On-site work with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license is required; training provided for other nursing fields.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients in a correctional environment.
• Assist in establishing patient treatment plans.
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records.
