Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Chapel Hill is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to deliver direct patient care, administer medications, and support residents with ADLs in a 108-bed setting in Chapel Hill, NC. You will supervise nursing assistants, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in quality assurance activities while upholding resident-centered care in a supportive team environment.

Ideal candidates have an active NC RN license, CPR/BLS preferred, and at least 1 year of clinical

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience, preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift in accordance with facility policies and regulations, as applicable.
• Monitor and observe residents’ physical and emotional status; notify the attending physician and responsible party of any change in condition.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility policy and procedure.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges according to established procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, staff education, and regulatory surveys as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.
