Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Chapel Hill is seeking an experienced RN to provide direct nursing care in a 108-bed facility offering short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. You will supervise aides, manage medications, and contribute to individualized care plans while maintaining clinical documentation.

We value patient-centered care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety, dignity, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) ensuring comfort and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift.
• Monitor residents’ status and notify physicians of changes.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the team.
• Complete timely clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges per procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys.
