Job summary

Aliya Healthcare in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver total nursing care on an assigned unit. You will supervise staff, coordinate with the health team, and ensure all policies and procedures are followed consistent with a high standard of resident care.

You will administer medications, assess conditions, educate residents and families, document changes, and act as a resource for clinical guidance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active RN license in the state of Illinois.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.
• Must be able to work with residents of varying ages and medical needs.
• Must meet physical job requirements, including lifting, bending, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Collaborate with allied health team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policy and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment that supports residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development, evaluations, and corrective actions as needed.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed properly and efficiently.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education.
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents’ conditions.
• Accurately document care provided, changes in condition, and other relevant information per facility guidelines.
• Act as a charge nurse and provide clinical support and decision-making guidance.
