Aliya Healthcare in Oak Lawn seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver total resident care on the assigned unit, while guiding and supporting staff. You will administer prescribed medications, collaborate on individualized care plans with the health team, educate residents and families, and ensure safety and compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active RN license in Illinois.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.
• Ability to work effectively with residents of varying ages and medical needs.
• Must meet physical job requirements, including lifting, bending, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain an environment supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately and efficiently.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education.
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents’ conditions.
• Document care provided and changes in condition per guidelines.
• Act as charge nurse and provide clinical support to staff.
