Job summary

PARKWAY HEALTH AND REHAB in Memphis, TN is seeking a Charge Nurse to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines. Maintain the highest quality of care and supervise day-to-day activities to ensure smooth facility operations.

Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, ensuring policy compliance, and contributing to the facility's quality assurance program, while keeping accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, active license to practice as an RN or LPN/LVN in the state.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with written policies and procedures.
• Participate in development and maintenance of the quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to the unit/shift.
• Perform routine charting duties and ensure accurate documentation.
