Job summary

Saint Simeon's is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to supervise daily nursing activities and oversee CNAs during the shift. The role ensures care delivery aligns with current standards, regulations, and the facility's policies.

You will report to the Unit Manager and participate in quality assurance activities to maintain optimal resident care. The Charge Nurse is responsible for administrative functions, staffing plans, and ensuring accurate documentation, MARs, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN license in Oklahoma.
• Experience supervising Certified Nursing Assistants and nursing staff.
• Familiarity with long-term care regulations and quality improvement processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions and supervise CNAs.
• Develop work assignments and delegate authority to Charge Nurses.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed and compliance is maintained.
• Attend and implement recommendations from facility committees.
• Oversee nursing notes, MAR accuracy, and charting across shifts.
