Job summary

Saint John’s On The Lake is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse (RN) to oversee nursing care for residents on site. The role focuses on assessments, care planning, and ensuring adherence to policies with a person-centered approach.

You will lead a care team, supervise LPNs and aides, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin.
• Minimum 2 years of geriatric/rehabilitation experience; 1 year acute medical/surgical hospital preferred.
• CPR certified.
• Must read, speak and write English.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process to assess residents and develop individualized plans of care.
• Documents assessments thoroughly and promptly.
• Collaborates with health care team through conferences and meetings.
• Develops a teaching plan aligned with resident learning style.
