Boulevard Temple Care Center in Detroit, MI, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate resident care across shifts, assess and update care plans, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. The RN will supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other staff, guiding care delivery and serving as a resource for residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications include an active Michigan RN license and CPR certification, with 1–2 years in long-term or sub-acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care.
• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) and CPR certification (or CPR certification within 90 days of employment).

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff.
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
