Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and resident care within our skilled nursing community in Eureka, Kansas. You’ll oversee nursing services during assigned shifts and supervise caregiving teams with professionalism and compassion.

• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise nurses, LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Complete and update resident assessments and care plans.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and leadership.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are met.
• Document incidents and concerns and report them properly.
• Ensure supplies and medications are available and communicated to leadership.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care.
