Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and resident care in our skilled nursing community in Pratt, KS. You will oversee nursing services during shifts, supervise care teams, and ensure regulatory compliance with state and Americare standards.

The role requires an active RN license and strong leadership, with experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current
• Strong clinical leadership and judgment
• Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Supervise nursing staff including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Complete resident assessments, care plans, and documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
