Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care within our skilled nursing community in Centralia, MO.

You will oversee nursing services during shifts, supervise caregiving teams, and ensure residents’ needs are met with professionalism, compassion, and regulatory compliance. Join a team focused on growth and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred.
• Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and leadership.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are met.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety.
