Qualifications

The Cardiology Charge Nurse (RN) provides expert nursing care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patient admissions from various hospital departments and outside facilities.

Responsibilities:

Lead care planning and implementation, assess patient data to prevent deterioration, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to develop personalized care plans. Promote evidence-based practices, participate in quality improvement, and evaluate patient satisfaction. Serve as a clinical resource, support staff development, and ensure safe patient care in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications:

Requires an RN license with 2-5 years of nursing experience; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience are preferred. Leadership or supervisory experience is not mandatory.

Skills:

Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to analyze practice gaps and foster continuous improvement.
