Baptist Health’s 5 South Observation Unit in Kentucky seeks an experienced RN shift supervisor to support the ED and telemetry services, ensuring safe, efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
You will lead staff on your shift, provide clinical guidance, participate in rounds with families, and collaborate with the Nurse Manager on scheduling and staff development.
Job Summary The 5 South Observation Unit supports both the Emergency Department and telemetry services by caring for low‑acuity patients who require short‑term monitoring to determine whether inpatient admission is needed. This fast‑moving unit relies on strong teamwork, clear communication, and efficient patient flow.
