Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a registered nurse to join the 5 South Observation Unit, a fast-paced, team-focused environment supporting the Emergency Department and telemetry. This 21-bed unit provides short-term observation to determine inpatient needs, with strong nurse-to-patient ratios and a collaborative care model.

Ideal candidates have backgrounds in Telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU, intermediate care, or ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license
• BLS ACLS NIH Certification – training available
• 12‑Lead EKG – training available
• Phlebotomy

Responsibilities

With strong nurse‑to‑patient ratios and a collaborative care model, this unit is an excellent fit for nurses with backgrounds in Telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU, intermediate care, or ambulatory care.
