Job summary

HMG Healthcare’s Red Oak Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an LVN/RN to deliver compassionate nursing care to residents, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support daily living activities under supervision.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans, maintain accurate records, educate residents and families, and uphold infection control and safety standards in a rehabilitative setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LVN or RN license in the state of Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of nursing principles, medication administration, and patient care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Educate residents and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention as appropriate.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications
